Like most Pokémon games , Pokémon GO allow Pokémon to develop . However , rather than evolve by charge up ( orpowering upas it ’s named in GO ) , phylogeny is achieved by collecting special confect for each Pokémon .
catch a Pokémon yields Candy named for the base form of that Pokémon - i.e. Bulbasaur Candy is present for catching a Bulbasaur , Ivysaur or Venusaur . First stage arrest ( e.g. Bulbasaur , Geodude ) give 3 confect ; second stage ( e.g. Ivysaur , Golduck ) give 5 confect ; and third stages ( e.g. Venusaur , Gengar ) yield 10 Candy . Transferring a Pokémon to Professor Willow gives an surplus 1 confect . incubate Pokémon from testis production higher confect amounts .
