The fifth generation of Pokémon games retain with two subsequence , aptly titledPokémon Black 2andPokémon White 2 . There are no newfangled Pokémon but the Unova local Pokédex is expanded to let in early generations , with a total of 300 Pokémon .

Pokémon Black 2 & Pokémon White 2are sequels to the first pair of Generation 5 biz , and are set 2 eld after the events ofPokémon Black & White . This is different to the usual procedure of releasing a singleremake .
They are for the Nintendo DS console . This is likely so that games can use the same map and artwork , and to invoke to a wider audience . Of of course , they work on Nintendo ’s newer 3DS console as well . There are some special features that will only wreak on the DSi and 3DS .
You start inAspertia Citywhich is the large hometown to date . The metropolis is in the southwest of the Unova region , separated from the rest of Unova that was in Black / White 1 . A large amount of the region has been update in the2 yearssince the previous plot .
As common , Team Plasma are causing trouble in the area and you thwart their feat as you work up through the usual 8 gymnasium and Elite 4 . The previous Unova Champion , Alder , appears early on in the plot and reveals there is a new Champion who you discover later on .
New features
Pokémon Black / White 2 introduces a twosome of new feature . There is amedalssystem , which is essentially the same as the achievements feature in many other games nowadays . You receive medals for completing various tasks such as capturing 20 or 50 Pokémon . See theMedals listfor more details .
In many routes you will also find certain Sir Herbert Beerbohm Tree between which there is a small gap you could enter . within there is a small glade called aHidden Grotto , where Pokémonwith their secret abilitiescan be found ! Items may also be get here .
New forms
Legendary PokémonKyuremreceives two new form calledBlack KyuremandWhite Kyurem , as seen in the image below . The form come about from a melding of Kyurem with each ofZekromandReshiram , and are based on Electricity and Fire , although both keep Kyurem ’s character of Dragon / Ice .
The Kami trio ofTornadus , ThundurusandLandoruswill also receive newIncarnateforms , only obtainable from a freestanding software for the Nintendo 3DS console , Pokémon AR Searcher . Tornadus ' novel form focuses on Defense , Special Defense and Speed . Thundurus ' new form sharpen on Special Attack . Landorus ' raw manakin focuses on Attack . We ’ll post more contingent as we get them .
Keldeowas alsoofficiallyrevealed recently and seem in a Modern Pokémon movie with Kyurem and its fresh forms . It will be available through an effect and it has a new variety calledResolution form .
The forms ofMeloettaandGenesectwere already known and have been made uncommitted via events since the game ’s tone ending .
