I lovedLife is Strange : Double Exposure . I find it to be a relatable narrative adventure that resonated with me on a mystifying horizontal surface . But I ca n’t say I ’m too activated about what ’s next for the series .
Most ofDouble Exposureis a contained and personal escapade about Max Caulfield see to process her trauma , become a good mortal , and finally help others . It remind me of what makes this serial so great : it ’s intimate , excited , character - focalize , and does n’t flow into vulgar superhero story clichés . lifetime is Strange game may follow people with superpowers , but these characters are n’t Spider - Man or Batman .

The big gimmick about halfway throughDouble Exposureis that Max ’s friend , Safi , also has great power . I think doing so is a fool ’s errand . I ’m a huge buff of superheroes and kinder to the MCU than most , but that ’s just not Life is foreign .
Life is unknown is endearing because it is an anthology enfranchisement . It ’s a series of timeless come - of - age tales encouraging ego - reflexion and recount grounded stories with a fantastical twist . They are narrative where characters ’ power are just as thematically important as they are to the gameplay or action .
With whatDouble Exposure’sending teases , I ’m worried thatLife is unusual 5will be some kind of “ superheroes versus the storm ” premise that transfigure the power its protagonists wield .
