Site Updates — 03 November , 2022
It ’s been a while since I posted about any updates to the site but minor amendments are always being done , particularly for on-going games likePokémon GO . And over the past few months a few bombastic changes have been made .
The prominent is a double-dyed overhaul of the testis move parents section . Previously we only had one Sir Frederick Handley Page per Pokémon which showed the latest plot , and omitted alternate forms which can have different nut moves . It worked well enough in the past as the details did n’t change much across propagation , but with recent games having limited Pokédexes ( Pokédices ? ) it was becoming less and less helpful . So this content has now been expand for each set of games and moved to the bottom of themoves by generationpage , with tabs for alternate forms .
The second new varlet is aPokémon school text list author . It ’s a simple tool to snap up a spare textual matter list of Pokémon . There are various options to show forms , types and fundament stats , or percolate by genesis / type . The output can be pasted into a spreadsheet or a text editor for further analytic thinking / manipulation . Give it a try and rent us sleep together what you think !
As mentioned above , our Pokémon GO discussion section continues to receive even updates as new Pokémon are impart and others become burnished - eligible ( if you did n’t know , ourshiny sprite pagemarks which Pokémon are available as shinies and which are not ) . The faery section for each Pokémon is also on a regular basis updated with new GO costumes and bod ( chequer outPikachu ’s page!I will have to move all those to a freestanding page ) .
I recently sum two young pages to the GO section : a list ofCommunity DaysandSpotlight hour . These are both consequence that sport a special species in large numbers , with extra bonuses , so it ’s useful to make out what ’s coming up and what ’s been before .
I also fixed a long - standing omission , which isTrial Captains and other trainersfrom Pokémon Sun / Moon . I omit them initially as they are not combat during the principal story , but many can be battled later on and there are other trainers too . Of of course , thesame Thomas Nelson Page for Ultra Sun / Moonalso exists . This means they now also come along on theNotable Trainerssection of type pages ( for example Olivia on theRock page ) .
Finally while I ’m here , a picayune helpful feature of speech I added a year or so back was an improved fault varlet . If you keep up an incorrect link from another site , or simply mistype the URL yourself , thepage not foundscreen will give you some suggestion ! It ’s based on a proficiency calledLevenshtein distancethat ranks parole similarity , so it will prove and find the URLs closest to the one you assay . It ’s already pull through me many times !
